100 million people are stuck.
Don't be.

We’re as fed up as you are.

It’s OK to want out. Remember, it’s them—not you. You wouldn’t put up with this kind of deal from any other service provider.

Right now you’re probably:

  • Convinced you're stuck in a long-term service contract with no way out
  • Staring down big, inevitable ETFs (early termination fees)
  • Still paying those remaining balances on your employees’ phones
  • Waiting on employees’ differing annual service contract end dates

Unacceptable. It's why we’re changing the game.

Switch without a hitch.

  • Who can take advantage of this offer?

  • What are your eligibility requirements for reimbursement?

A customer must switch from a plan with another domestic carrier and port their current numbers to T-Mobile. The customer will need to trade in an eligible smartphone or tablet and purchase a new device with T-Mobile on a qualifying Simple Choice for Business plan, T-Mobile prepaid or Simple Choice Family Plan with no credit check are not eligible.

For device payment plan reimbursement, the device with the associated balance must be the device traded-in and the payment plan must be in good standing. All lines must be activated on the same T-Mobile business account with the same billing address.

  • How many lines can I switch with this offer?

You can switch out as many lines as you wish.
If you do switch more than 12 lines, you must submit all lines and devices in one transaction.

  • Do I have to work with a Business Representative or can I redeem in a store?

You can start the process for redeeming in a retail store. The store representative will explain the steps. However, please note that the process for switching in retail stores is better suited for small volumes of lines.

A Business Representative can facilitate the entire process for larger volumes of lines.

  • How does it work? What does the process look like? How do customers receive their credits?

Customers can begin the process of switching by walking into a store, or by contacting a business representative.

For the first 12 lines. When you get the final bill from the previous carrier stating the ETF amount and submit it to T-Mobile, you receive a credit equal to the ETF, for up to $650 per line, on the first 12 lines, within 12 weeks. Or, when you submit your outstanding financed device balances to T-Mobile, you receive the financed balance minus the trade-in value.

If you trade-in devices for 1-12 lines, you will receive the device pay-out in the form of a Prepaid MasterCard® Card, minus the trade-in credit you receive.

For 13 or more lines. When you get the final bill from the previous carrier stating the ETF amount and send it to T-Mobile, you receive a bill credit equal to the ETF, for up to $100 per line, within 12 weeks. Additionally, when you submit your outstanding financed device balances to T-Mobile, you receive the financed balance minus the trade-in value. The maximum payout including trade-in value of the device can be up to $100/per line. You must switch all lines in a single transaction. The offer can be taken advantage of only once per business account.

If you trade-in devices for more than 12 lines, you will be reimbursed as a bill credit.

  • What is an eligible device payment plan?

Examples of eligible device payment plans are Verizon’s EDGE program, AT&T’s NEXT or Sprint’s Easy Pay Program. Please note that other third party financing plans are not covered. T-Mobile will also pay off any device payment balance associated with Sprint’s iPhone for Life plan when you exercise your purchase option under the lease.

  • Do I still qualify if some of my lines have ETFs and others are on device payment plans? Can I submit both?

Absolutely! Submissions can include multiple lines with ETFs or device payment plan balances, or both.

  • How do I find my account number on my tablet to submit my reimbursement request?

You can find the wireless number associated with your tablet on your bill or by calling your carrier.

  • How do I submit my final bill for ETF and/or outstanding financed balances for reimbursement?

First, you must trade in your existing devices with T-Mobile and port your numbers when you activated a new account with T-Mobile.

If you’re switching 1-12 lines, submit your final bill from your old carrier via a simple web form here.

If you’re switching more than 12 lines, attach a copy of your final bill from your old carrier and email to breakfree@t-mobilesupport.com.

No matter how many lines you are switching, you must submit your final bill showing cancelation fees and/or outstanding financed balances within 60 days (or two calendar months) of your new T-Mobile activation.

  • Do I have to submit every page of my final bill with my previous carrier to qualify for reimbursement?

No, we only need the pages of your bill that reflect your name, address, phone number or numbers, and early termination fee (ETF) amount and/or the outstanding financed device balances.

  • How soon after I switch to T-Mobile do I have to submit my reimbursement request?

You have 60 days (or two calendar months) from your date of activation at T-Mobile to submit your final bill.
