While we are already the fastest growing wireless carrier, we have heard that some people who would like to switch are holding back because they are unaware of how well our network will work for them. Even for our own customers they may be wondering why upgrade to a 4G LTE device compared to the device/network experience they may have now. Trying is believing and we believe in our network.
No, non-customers and customers alike can participate in a test drive. Existing T-Mobile customers may be interested in test driving the fastest nationwide 4G LTE network if they don’t currently have a device that provides them that capability.
The phones can make unlimited domestic calls, texts, and use Unlimited 4G LTE data on your smartphone (including up to 5GB of SMHS). International phone calls, texts and roaming are not included. The participant is free to download apps, add e-mail or personalize the device in other ways.
T-Mobile test drive is a new signature move, so we plan to support it indefinitely.

No. While we’re confident that many participants will want to keep the test drive phone and add ongoing T-Mobile service to it, those phones are specifically assigned to the trial.
No. The phone number assigned to the test drive is set aside for this program only.
Test Drive: Phone may be used and is provided for trial use only. Limit three trial per customer. Return of Phone must be scheduled within 14 days of delivery to avoid a $699.99 per phone and tax being charged to your monthly bill. If you do not return the phone within 14 days of delivery we may bill your account for the full value of the devices. $100 damage fee charged for returned phones that do not power on, have cracked screens or water damage, or active Find My iPhone feature. Service: Available for 14 days from date of phone delivery, then service and account is suspended. Phone number may not be for your area code. Domestic use only; additional charges apply for international use, where available. Partial megabytes rounded up. 50 MB of data roaming available. Any amounts you add to account will not be refunded. If you add premium or additional services, you are responsible for any related charges.
